"Paramos a comer en El Fresquito (Empalme del Valle), situado en plena Sierra de Cazorla, en la carretera A-319, km 31,7, cerca de Burunchel y Arroyo Frío. Fue todo un acierto. Pedimos dos tintos de verano, un gazpacho, un plato de ciervo en salsa, un pollo empanado y dos cafés, todo por 43,20 €, un precio muy razonable para la calidad y el entorno. La comida estaba muy buena, en especial el ciervo en salsa, tierno y con mucho sabor, acompañado de unas patatas fritas caseras que marcan la diferencia. El gazpacho fresquito vino perfecto para el calor, y el pollo empanado también cumplió. El lugar es un verdadero oasis natural: sombra, frescor, buen ambiente y rodeado de montañas y manantiales. Y lo mejor, los dueños, que son super amables y cercanos, lo que convierte la parada en algo mucho más especial. En resumen: un restaurante en plena Sierra de Cazorla, con buena comida, precio justo y trato excelente. Muy recomendable si viajas por la zona."

"Un sitio increíble, pasamos por casualidad. Se acercaba la hora de comer y preguntamos si podíamos comer, muy amable y con sentido del humor nos dijo que debíamos esperar porque estaba bastante lleno, era cierto, con alguna mesa grande. Nos tomamos algo en la barra y luego nos sentamos. Cuando llegó la comida dimos gracias. Madre mía, comida hecha con cariño, rica de sabor, amabilidad, todo lo que una pareja desea. Comimos lomo de ciervo en orza, ciervo en salsa con patatas fritas y trucha al estilo de la abuela. Gracias José por tu sencillez y humor y un monumento a la cocinera."

"Buen lugar en el camino para comer o tomar algo. Comida casera, platos combinados sin misterio pero cocinados muy bien. Sin duda la trucha, con su salsa sorprende y esas patatas fritas caseras totalmentr . Oasis en plena sierra donde el calor es menor y las vistas son de chiringuito veraniego de montaña Los dueños hacen un gran trabajo. Es un lugar pequeño y hay que tener paciencia"

"Chiringuito en un rincóncito de las Sierra de Cazorla y Segura, junto a la carretera. Lugar con terraza cubierta, descubierta y vegetación. En pleno agosto la temperatura de este lugar era ideal, era de noche y hacía fresquito, en honor a,su nombre :-) Personal amable, servicio correcto, la Comida buena. Un lugar ideal para hacer un alto en el camino. Admite mascotas."

"En septiembre de 2021, cuando íbamos hacia Kampoah Cazorla, hicimos una parada para tomar algo. Nos recomendaron el ciervo y estaba increíble. A los días volvimos para cenar. Lo mejor del sitio el dueño, José, persona cercana y amable. Las compañías de teléfono a ver si le dan cobertura, ya que solamente se puede pagar en metálico."

"Un lugar a pie de carretera que sorprende! Muy acogedor con un hilo de agua que se escucha de fondo y con terraza completamente a la sombra y fresquita. Se puede ir con perro. Comida buenísima, nosotros hemos probado flamenquines 12€ ( y trucha (con una salsa) 12.50€ y todo acompañado de patatas fritas caseras. Mi tinto de verano lo hicieron (no de bote).Un café rico también ! Las bebidas varían de precio, pero entre 2.5 y 3€ En total comimos: 2 tercios, 1 tinto, los dos platos combinados y cafes por 35€ Los dueños son muy amables. Pequeño plus : podréis rellenar vuestras botellas de agua, ya que hay una fuente!"

"Si lo que quieres es degustar comida auténtica, fresca y tradicional este es tu sitio. Subiendo para Cazorla nos encontramos con este acogedor sitio repleto de gente y nos llamó mucho la atención. La comida un auténtico diez, recién hecho el gazpacho, carne muy fresca y el revuelto de papas, chorizo y huevo una obra de arte. Sitios como este, escondidos de la mano de Dios, son los mejores. MUY RECOMENDADO!!!"
